We’ve learned a lot since launching sparkyteaching.com in 2009. Not least of which is the fact that, like Brian May’s hair, your website can grow out in all sorts of directions when you’re not looking and then it starts getting difficult to control.
In an attempt to clean things up without losing any content, we thought a new year re-design was in order. A lot of the changes are off-screen, but there are one or two more visible alterations you might appreciate:
- - menu navigation is now clearer and the same on every page,
- - feedback tags on every page, allowing you to provide customer feedback, share your ideas and suggestions at uservoice.com,
- - re-design of ‘365 Things’, ensuring it is now easier to use and reply to,
- - re-design of The Splog allowing us a little artistic freedom in our blog posts…
There are lots of other little changes here and there, but they amount to two things…
Less clutter. More content.
Call it a haircut for 2010.
