It Couldn’t Be Done…

We’ve been thinking a lot about resilience lately — what it means to us, what it means to students and how we can help to encourage it in the classroom. Closely linked, but not entirely the same thing is perseverance, something we’re all a little more familiar with and, for some reason, more comfortable talking about.

On our travels we came across a poem by Edgar Albert Guest called ‘It Couldn’t Be Done’ and thought it was worth sharing. The original is here. We’ve tweaked it slightly to come up with this video version. Feel free to use it in class — you can download an MP4 version by right-clicking here and saving it to your computer.

Hope it’s useful…

We intend to get a Sparky Videos page up and running very soon with downloadable versions on, but in the meantime, here’s our YouTube Channel to keep you going.
